Lead By Example is a professional support program for principals and building level leaders. Through job-embedded professional learning activities, leaders are guided in areas of instructional leadership and school climate.

Mentoring

Individualized meeting to discuss progress in the Job-embedded professional learning which fosters a culture of collaboration.

Round-Table discussions

Principals will gain knowledge about current trends and issues regarding education at the federal, state and local levels through researching current trends and issues in peer-reviewed publications.

 

Leadership Plan

Principals develop individualized leadership plan. The plan will include personal leadership goals and objectives based on individual needs, desires, interests and strengths.

Instructional Walks

Leaders participate in joint classroom observations/focus walks to assess instruction. Principals are supported with real world application of research-based classroom instruction using national, state, and local standards.
